To all GB&G Employees
We are relieved that you were all safe and spared from
any major loss
from the recent hurricanes.
We hope that this page was useful to you during the
evacuation
especially in getting information about GB&G.
During the evacuation from Gustav, we only received a
few emails
from a few employees letting us know where you were and that you were safe.
In the event of future evacuation, if at all possible,
please send us an email at
sales@gbggasket.com ASAP
when you reach a safe location to let us know where you are and
that you and your family are safe!
We understand that you will not always be able to email us during an
evacuation,
but we ask you to try. You should be able to access most email account
from any
computer that connects to the internet (i.e. aol, yahoo, gmail, cox, att,
msn etc.)
If you do not have a personal email account,
please talk to Gerard and he will help you set up one for free.
If you have any suggestions on how to improve the way
you get information,
this web page or anything having to do with our "disaster plan",
please contact me or Todd via email, phone or in person.

up to date on information about GB&G and it's employees.

(this number might change during a disaster
since during Katrina,
Todd got a Baton Rouge cell phone to help with communication and
we all know that cell phones did not work well during that time.)
If you are unable to contact Todd, you
can leave him a message at
Capital Rubber in Baton Rouge at 1-225-356-2451 or fax 1-225-355-0766
as long as Capital Rubber has not been affected by the disaster.
Todd will check in with them several times a day.

PLEASE
Contact us as soon as you can so that we know you and your family
are safe,
and let us know how to contact you with further information about the
company.
If you have a personal email address
(AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, Cox, Bellsouth etc.),
you should be able to access it no matter what city you are evacuated in,
as long as you have an internet connection.
If you are staying with someone who has an email address,
please send an email from that account to
sales@gbggasket.com
and put your name in the Subject line of the email.
Please tell us where you are and what plans you have at this time.
Someone from the company will reply ASAP
with whatever information we have at the time.
Please remember that email might be
the best form of communication
during a disaster since cell phones and phone lines may not be working.
